I thought this was interesting, maybe prices will go up for them here sooner or later.

American imports are expense in the Down Under. They have one heck of an import duty on out of country vehicles. There is a dealer not to far from Kings Cross (Sydney) that sales American import performance autos and it would kill you to see the prices they charge. Plus most have to be switched over to right hand drive which adds more on to the already high cost.

I like the exhaust tips! Left hand turns would take some getting used to!

Hello to all from Australia, I have looked at this car about a month ago. It is a march 2000 model and was converted to right hand drive here in 2001 the company that did it also did a yellow one at the same time and it is also for sale in Victoria for $130000. There is also a black 2000 for sale here for $149500 that the seller purchased in Canada in 2000 only 4 months old for $80000canadian. All the Prowlers in Australia (we think there are 7 or 8 only ) all have to be converted to right hand drive and this is an expensive exercise, I got a quote to do mine when it arrives from the USA early next year for $36300. Cheers Ken.

My 2001 has a black shifter bezel and leather cover. I am not sure what you mean? Why would you think that it was a 1999? :

Something's Not Right!

Guys,

Something is not right here. The ebay announcement says that the car has anti-lock brakes. Now either they installed them on the Prowler or this is either a mistake or a falsehood.

Does someone have a credibility gap?

ECurtis 2000 & later Prowlers came with a chrome shifter bezel.
If you have 2001 and a black shifter bezel some one has probably changed it

Sorry, you are right. The bezel is chrome. The shifter is not.
