Anyone on here work at a store that sells the new xbox 360 premium edition? I would like to have one and will pay a $50 finders fee. I may have to wait until January there were 3,700 on ebay yesterday and I have seen them go as high as $1,700. Those people have more money than sense. But the supply does not meet the demand as usual for a HOT Christmas item.Mike

I wish you luck in finding one......it's crazy!! All the stores had very long lines waiting until midnight Tuesday to be the first to purchase. I, too, was checking out eBay just to see what they were going for......those people are NUTS!!!

WOW - did I blow it. Last Saturday I was in the COMP USA store in Dallas directly across from their home office - one of friends works at COMP. They had 20 of each of the X Box 360 sitting there on display. In hindsight I guess I should have taken them all!

Marty:The boxes you saw there could have been actual boxes of product or just empty boxes used for their display. They could not have sold you the units until Tuesday November 22, 2005. They are sold out throughout the US. I heard Ebay had 1800 units posted for sale on the first day of release.

Marty, You were only a couple of blocks from my office in Dallas. If you ever get that close again, please let me know. It would be good to meet you. Happy Thanksgiving. Brad

Maybe they were just display boxes. I did not pick one up to see if it was empty. Bradley - my friend that works at Comp USA lives in Plano and we get there a couple of times of year. I'll let you know next trip.

Randy.....we bought both of our grandsons an Ipod Nano for Christmas. We purchased online from their website. It was ordered, engraved with their names, shipped and received in less than a week! Great service and no shopping mall hassles!

CJ:My wife ordered one for my son from Best Buy's site. Retail stores were all sold out. She handled it, so I don't know of delivery date, but I doubt if the one she ordered is engraved. Cool feature.
