a recent trip to my familys homeplace brought back lots of old memorys....my great uncle Delbert built this garage in 1932 to house his new 1932 Chrysler roadster(my dad thinks it was yellow)....it must have been like owning a Viper back then....there were few cars out in this neck of the mountains anyway.....he kept the Chrysler till 1951 and traded it for a new red Ford pickup....he was thrilled, he got more for a 20 year old car than he paid for it...he kept the truck and used it daily till his death about 10 years ago....it had just a few thousand miles on the odometer because they only drove it to town once a month, and it was ALWAYS kept in this garage ... ...I just couldn't resist getting a shot in front of Uncle Delberts garage....it didn't look like the security level was too high

Nice memory.Back then no one had to worry much about security, and people didn't have to lock their doors. Uncle Delbert probably just wanted to protect his investment from the rain and hail, etc.
