on a recent trip to the deepest hills of Kentucky to visit some aging family members, we seemed to be caught in a Twilight Zone episode called "Cow Rock"....it seemed everytime we asked for directions, everyone thought a while and asked if we knew where the Cow Rock was....."go to the cowww rock, theen ya juss go passit, turrrn by the beeg treeeee, go'on down er holler teal ya sees Almas church an turrrn by the trayyyler" word for word Cow Rock juts out from the side of the little highway on a sharp curve....my dad says it has been like that since he was a kid...
