The wifey just discovered this spider while gardening outside - anyone knows what kind this is ?

It's VERY pretty - very colorful - lots of orange and pink.

I don't know what it is...

but we have them here...

I hate spiders...a friends father got bit by a brown recluse and it destroyed a patch of skin on his forehead about the size of a silver dollar before they cut the damaged skin off...
search on "brown recluse bites " if you want to see what i mean..

That spider is native of Mesa, Arizona....it's bite causes ponytails and bad attitudes...have no clue how it got to Sweet Home Alabama. It may have been shipped there on purpose by a vengeful fellow who lives in that wasteland out there!! (Forrest Gump would step on it an squish hell out of it)

......FatPat, I think I've seen this 'species' in some rare photographs - kinda scary looking and REAL hairy !

Hey A/C ..........spiders and all other insects RUN from Ty-K - there are NONE to be found in about 1/2 square mile of his presence
