I think she is the one that refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white guy in the early '60s! Wonder who the guy was?? I heard his initials were Alley Cat!! |

I read an interview with her several years ago and she said that when she refused to give up her seat she had no idea it would evolve into the civil right movement... |

She lived a long life. Pat - it was Moneyham who tried to get her seat on the bus. |

She has lived quietly for the last many years in Detroit. Only on rare occasion would she be heard from, usually birthday, anniversarys etc. Within the last few years the bus she rode was located and now is at Henry Ford Museum. http://www.hfmgv.org/exhibits/rosaparks/default.asp |
