My wife and I had some friends over for lunch today. Afterwards she was washing the dishes and I was drying them. I had only dried a few plates when my wife dropped a knife on my foot. Now, this wasn't your ordinary paring knife. No, this was a foot and a half long, serrated Wusthof extra razor sharp knife she used for cutting the cake she made.

End result? Me with a gash going about 1/4"+ and 1/2" long into the side of my right foot. She thought nothing happened at first because there wasn't any blood. Well, not for 30 seconds or so. Then it started a-flowin'. At least I got out of doing any more dishes!

I'm surprised that foot wasn't frozen solid and the knife just bounced off!! One of my best friends lives in St. Paul...the golf season is 3 weeks long up there!!

Wuzzer,
Are you so sure that she 'dropped it by accident'? Or perhaps her aim is off a little?

Wuzzzer,

I am sorry that happened to you.

Also please consider getting a dishwasher.

ECurtis

P.S. Maybe that was her way of telling you that you guys need a dishwasher
