Spotted Hyena I followed back to her nest. Many of them make their home in culverts in dried up streams where they pass under a road.
If you notice under the hyena's chin, in the background you see some white substance. Hyena fecal matter is white or chalky color because they eat bones of other animals to get the marrow for energy. As a result, their feces is light colored.
I couldn't resist taking a picture of this baboon sitting atop a termite mound!
My wife works for the US government and is posted in Mozambique, so we don't see each other much right now. For those of you who claim my wife is not real and just a "little friend," we took this photo near Cape Town, South Africa at a place called Houte Bay.

XTC, no I didn't see any Prowlers, but I sure did think about how cool it would be to cruise around Cape Town and out towards Houte Bay in my Kat! I did see a gold PT Cruiser, and I also saw a red '65 convertible Mustang in cherry condition.

Bob, Nice picture of your wife. I am sure she was glad to see you. I have a question about the mountain / rock formation in the background. Doesn't it look like a gorilla or a monkey sitting?Dale

Jimmy Miller is my cousin's name, but he was never is the USAF. I was in the USAF many years and flew with the SecDef and members of congress all over the world, but I never flew in AF-1.

No...Jimmy lives in Lees Summit...his dad Jerry lives in Raytown right behind the Blue Ridge Mall. They own a car lot on Truman Road. The guy that flies AF 1 today is related to them.
