Sorry, no jumping fellas this go-around. This is a little Bee Eater.
In this photo, an African Stork and Hooded Vulcher are working an an elephant carcass (killed by some lions). To the right is a Black Backed Jackal awaiting his turn.
In this photo, two lions from another pride entered the territory of the above pride and they went on alert. Just after I took this photo the above lions took off after the two stray cats, forcing them to lay on the ground in submission.
These are Kudu. Beautiful animals and I really like eating them!!!

isn't it amazing how big the animals are in comparison to the ones you see in the zoo?

RusYou're right. I don't go to the zoo anymore because I feel like I'm visiting a prison! As you know, seeing these amazing animals in their natural environement is a completely different experience for the zoo.

Bob, Thanks for sharing your pics. I'm sure the pics really don't compare to actually being there.

Thanks for sharing all of those photos Bob! Awesome! The lions are awesome!Mike and I spent a week in the Masi Mara reserve a few years ago. What great sights to see them in their natural environment. I think the most amazing thing we saw was a heard of maybe 500 or so zebras, it was absolutely amazing! I'll never forget all of the sounds at night either
