He was "oh fer" and way overdue. Most baseball people say never walk the tieing or winning run. Pujols is unreal. It would have set up a force out at any base, additionally. It is easy to manage from my recliner, lol.

I'm glad both teams that are playing made it though.

The starting lineup as I remember it was 3rd base, Gene Freeze, SS Louis Aparicio, 2nd base Nellie Fox, 1st base Ted Kluszuski, RF Al Smith, CF, Jim Landis, LF Minnie Monoso, C Sherman Lollar, Pitching Early Wynn. He came back here and was a coach later on. I can name the 54 REDS but can't tell you who is playing now. They switch teams so often it is ridiculous. The last time I saw the White Sox in the World Series was in 1919 when the REDS played them. Joe Jackson was a good player. I am glad both Houston and Chicago made it, actually. The Astors have a killer pitching corp but I don't know much about the White Sox since they are in the junior league.
