Sunset in the Savuti area of northern Botswana, north of the Okavango Delta.
The perfect killing machine!
Lions mating
Rhino we encountered during a walk in the bush. They can't see very far at all, but they hear pretty well. We tried to stay down wind, but we made too much noise and he knew we were in the area. This is a white Rhino...you can tell by the shape of the mouth and head.
Will post more later.

Nice to see that lions aren't the only species to use the sidewinder position.

Bob, Great photos. Always wanted to go to Africa. Beautiful place. Did you get home in time to watch the Chiefs game Sunday? Looks like they may not be able to play this Sun. If the hurricane hits Miami Sunday. The Chiefs gave a special award to Richard Meyers Sunday.

So were you at the Chiefs game? I'd love to see the Chiefs beat the snot out of New England, but my brother in St. Louis says tickets are impossible to come by.Yes, I got home during the second quarter and immediately parked my bags by the front door and turned on the Chiefs game and had a beer....or two! It was fun going into the office Monday here in Washington with my Chiefs hat on! Is Meyers from Missouri? This message has been edited by Bob Miller on 10-19-2005 at 11:52 AM
