Uconn travels to Cincy this week with the #1 D in the nation, granted ,weak opponents. Ed , what will be in store for the Huskies? Now that I don't have to watch baseball till spring, I will follow the new and improved Huskies. Starting QB out for Uconn.

Don't know what Cincy will have in store for them but watch out for the Dec 3rd game when Louisville's high powered offense comes to Connecticut!

UC is not much. They had a good quarterback but he graduated last year. They have not been a force in football since the 40s. They do not draw very good crowds. The basketball season ticket holders HAVE to buy football tickets to get BB tickets or they would draw less than 10,000. High School football draws better than UC, unless they are playing Miami (of Ohio) shich is about 30 miles away.

Marty, Louisville will be a huge test for the Huskies, no doubt. They are going with a backup QB now so who knows. It is good to have the Big East set up this way. Too bad some teams jumped ship. The Big East hoops will be fun this year too. Gotta love Pitino. I had him as a client when he was coaching the Knicks way back. My oldest son is a freshman at Uconn and they start hoop madness tonight. I am sure it is like that all over the place this weekend. It should be good.

UC won and it made the bottom of page 12 in the sports section in the Sunday paper. I am not kidding. Page 12.
