Looks like a Bobby Alloway Speedstar by Ratt's Glass. Great looking cars!

If I am not mistaken which by the way is entirely possible this was made by Boyd Coddington when he shop was in Stanton, CA. I remember it when I was working for Petersen Publishing.

I would guess Speedstar also.I bugs me and I'm sure others too that here you have a rod that is not old and probably built for the owner and they get into a street rod event but the Prowler is turned away even though the "street rod" is new from ground up. In alot of cases the Prowler is older than every part on the "rod". Just venting.

The Prowler resemblence is amazing. It looks like it could have been made out of a Prowler.

I would have to say I would consider trading my Prowler for a well done 33 Speedster.

Plus you can't put air conditioning in it because the cowl is to short. But I love those especially Bobby's black track nosed coupe.

Sat in one with A/C down at Hot Rod Express and I am 6'4" 275 pounds!! Not comfy, but neither is a T Bucket. Surprisingly enuff, I fit in my Prowler pretty well!! Little hard on my left knee getting out especially with the top up!!This message has been edited by Fat Pat on 10-12-2005 at 04:53 AM
