I was ordering some things on the internet and saw that this company also sold "plastic polish" so I thought I would give it a try on the m/c windshield. I got it late yesterday and only had a few minutes to try it out. It rained today so I did not ride the bike. It appears to have done a great job but I need to see it with the sunlight in my face to see if it is great.
Anyone have any experience with it?

Ed, I have used it in the past with good results. Also think I got some from Bob Goetz in the past when I replaced the base pads on my air patrol.

I used to use it on my airplane windshields but to be honest, I found that toothpaste worked better! The Novus cleaner does work well but the polish was too "filmy" and it left a residue that made it difficult to see out of it.

Toothpaste seemed to take out the scratches better and it left no residue. I am not suggesting that you try it. I am only reporting what worked for me on my airplanes. I used it for about ten years and I owned 13 different airplanes and it seemed to work well.

I have used Never-Dull to clean up and remove fine scratches from motorcycle windshields and like it better than most plastic polishes i've used. It's also excellent on aluminum, chrome, brass, copper, silver, etc.
I have tried Novus, there is nothing wrong it but never-dull worked best for me for fine scratches and swirls, just let the wadding do the work and use very little pressure.
Just a note i have found that some winddshields have a thin coating and once that is breached there is nothing you can do, so anything you try find a small spot to try it on first.
For the cost of Can of Never dull give it a try JMO.

Scot, I tried toothpaste with no results at all. Maybe just different type of plastic or wrong toothpaste.

Brasso works well on plastic windshields. I used it on the side wings of a car that I had and it removed the scratches. I couldn't believe the recommendation until I tried it, and it worked.

Thanks for the replies. I should have titled this "Tips from Heloise". It is amazing the things that work that you would never think about. The Novus looks like it worked pretty well but it is still cloudy here. I need some bright sun to really see if it worked great or just pretty well.

You need to use toothpaste, not one of the gels. The gels don't have abrasives. (I think)

It wasn't a gel. It was Crest. Anyone notice how much water they are adding to the toothpaste now! I guess water is cheaper and the tube size is the same.

Neal, you did retire but you failed at it and took another job. lol I want Sandy to start working week-ends at a hospital to pick up some extra spending money for me. Golf is not cheap, especially if you play as bad as I do most of the time. lol

Ed,
Haven't tried that brand before. I have used Mequiars Plastic Cleaner and Plastic Polish and they both work great.
