Congrats!

I am extremely jealous. How about a few more photos and some additional info...how fast, how does it handle, can I drive it...etc.

thx for all the nice comments !
have had pantera's, contach, viper, zr1's, 800 hp vettes, etc, etc
this has to be the purest power and most perfectly engineered vehicle i have ever driven !
last night i took it out, cruised at 110-130, did a shot out of 3rd up to 175-178, the vehicle felt like it was attached to train tracks, and had plently of pedal wainting to be applied. awesome would only be a partial description.
i had every intention of buying the new zo6 (being the vette nut that i am), but recently went on tour at the bowling green plant, every z06 that came off the line, was sent into the dio pits, due to electrical problems, after seeing the massive drop in prices of the c5 zo6, and touring the plant, as soon as i got home, i ordered the gt.
i just spent the entire day detailing it the way it should have been, and it looks even better now.
again thx for the comments, and anytime any of you are in the area, i will take you out for a ride with it !

Oh ....... to have the money. That is absolutely the coolest car on the road, including (dare I say it) the Prowler. You are one lucky guy.

Sam ... am confused ... as a "Vette Nut" myself first and foremost, I am baffled by your comment above. The C5 Z06 is NOT the same car as the C6 Z06, as any true Vette Nut would know ... so to compare them both ... and citing the drop in price in the C5 Z06 (obviously due to the Viper eating power and pure high-end performance against many exotics, including your new little toy of the new C6 Z06) you have me at a loss. By the way, am in the BG plant fairly regularly having a few good buds that work and have retired from the line ... they praise the C6's ... and know the number of "recalls" the exist on that Ford, at least Chevy is 'catching them' before they leave the plant. Enjoy your ride!

thx for the feedback ray
i still own many vettes, my pride and joys are my zr1's
the point i was getting at was twofold:
from what i saw, and what i heard, the c6 zo6 has many electrical problems, and with it being its first year of production, that is keeping me away for now. knowing me, i will have one, or the special edition which may come out in 07 with 600+ hp.
as far as the c5 zo6, their price did not deminish because of other alleged super cars persay, it diminished and very quickly, because of the introduction of the c6 zo6 with 505 hp.
in either case, its good to see another vette crazy guy like me, here on the world famous prowler site

ciao
sam

Sam, I think you failed to mention this incredible car in any of our conversations. If I had known I would have stowed away in your "orange shopping cart" just to get a ride! LOL

Congrats on one Sweet Ride.

PS, What color is Karen's going to be?
