Watching the high winds [100mph] hitting Galveston Island right now,,,much earlier than expected. Three buildings on fire,,one is the Post Office.

I remember seeing the other night,, three or four old people who were staying put in their homes there. I can only think they will not be with us tomorrow.

Monahan will be on soon, and in through the night. Ed,,keep us informed on what is going on through the early morning hours. If those refineries take a direct hit,,,we will be in trouble for a month or two.

Because of the shut down of the refineries we're already taking a hit on gas along with the run on it with the evacuations. There are alot of stations that have been out of gas for the last two days. Tankers are finally filling some of them up, but I'm sure we'll be seeing the new prices very soon. T

It looks like the refineries and most of the offshore rigs came through it with little or no damage. Some of the refineries are starting back up - hopefully by next week all of them will be back to normal production. T
