...fellow graduates of Walter P. Chrysler High School, New Castle Class of 1969....several of us go all the way back to kindergarten....the rest of us have been friends since our early grade school days.......some of my buddies are teachers, factory workers, doctors and rock stars ...one in the picture was at Woodstock, one has hitch hiked around the world....one saw the Beatles play live...one member of our class was a TV star for a long time....we had over 400 people in our graduating class, a record never broken since in New Castle...these 400 people have touched countless lives around the world...some became politicians, some are leaders of industry, some just stayed here and raised their family and continued the tradition of small town living....New Castle is a pretty good place to live and I am proud to call it home... ...unfortunately some of my old buddies exist only in our memories and some even have their names on the big black wall in Washington DC.... ...but at one time we were all just little kids playing baseball in the alley and wondering what girls were all about...talking about fast cars, listening to the Beach Boys....homecoming and class reunions bring us all back to our purest form, just good friends with that common bond of trust and friendship that has withstood the decades.... pictured below.... survivors of the sixties and hopefully several more decades of fun and friendship...
