I've been away to Victoria British Columbia for the past 5 days on work related business and took the $99 wonder with me. unfortunatly took all the pictures on the one star setting instead of the three star.....so these could be down graded to photos taken with a $33 camera.....

I couldn't capture the beauty of the city as we had almost no free time and was lucky to get the ones i got....
the floating village is very cool... these are actual homes people live in year round....
Victoria is on Vancouver island and hasn't had snow that stuck on the ground since 1997.......
I believe this city is the most beautiful place i've ever visited..... anyone looking to vacation has to consider it... I would move there in a heart beat if the opportunity arose.

enjoy the picts......

halicat,

Just a 2.5 hour ferry ride from us. There are hundreds of Islands through there and they are all extremely beautiful.

Everyone should at this time make a mental note that says
"I will visit Victoria at least once in my lifetime"... and make a point to follow through with it.......its beauty is beyond description.....the city is like one huge garden... I never saw one piece of litter the entire time I was there... the streets were full of folks enjoying the waterfront and nightlife. The population is only 300,000.

I kept thinking...."I need to live here"....and someday maybe I will....
