...a friend emailed this pix to me a few days ago....it is a shot of the future leaders of the world I guess.....my 6th grade graduation ceremony had just ended and one of my friends mother took this picture....I have no memory of the event at all(several years have completely dissappeared from my memory banks due to a childhood injury)...

...one is a teacher(his mother took the picture), several are in sales, one is the President CEO of a large drug company, one was married 3 times before we graduated from high school...not sure where several of them even live these days, but on that sunny summer afternoon we were best buddys getting ready for a fun filled summer before embarking on junior highschool and girls with real hooters

I am on the far right

I'm thinking the jacket was also a clip-on.
That picture was everybody in the midwest from the mid 50s to the mid 60s. Then came long hair and the photos all changed.

Class of 1964 also

Coffeeman - I worked for a Ford dealer in the early 70's. At one time, he was the largest retail Rambler dealer in the U.S. I asked him one day,,,what happened? He said he would sell those new Ramblers by the thousands,,,,trouble was,,people in those days would trade them back in after two or three years of use. Nobody wanted the used Ramblers,,,,so he was always buried in used Ramblers with no outlet for them. True story.

Heck Larry, I can still remember the DeSoto dealer, Hudson dealer and the Frasiar(?) dealer. I also remember the last Packard sold here in town. Standard equipment was a factory supercharger. As I recall the guy kept it several years and sold it. Wish I knew where it went. And Scott Stern claims to be an OLD man!!!!! Memories!

I think I remember RPL mentioning that he used to work for American Motors. I always had a lot of respect for Geoge Romney when he was head of AMC. Meet him one time. Heck of a personality. Remember when he ran for President. I still think he would have made a great President. Rambler made some pretty good quality cars back in the 50's and very early 60's. Wife and I went went on our honeymoon in a little Rambler American. Fun trip. Memories!!!

I think the one here was a Packard "President". Would that be right?
