Couldn't have asked for better weather for this time of year in the Dells ... Sunday, arrival day was HOT ... like 90's. Monday was also HOT and sunny with broken clouds and in the upper 80's ... didn't cool down until evening ... like 11:30pm or so! Tuesday for our group photo ... I counted one lone cloud in the sky and upper 80's once again ... picture perfect night for the Drive-In too! Wednesday we woke to claps of thunder and rain, but it cleared by 11:30am and the rest of the day was sunny, humid and warm -- back into the mid-80's. Thursday for the "long haul" tour was what many referred to as a "typical Texas Stampede" day with high winds and rain coming down sideways! We stood and watched the parking lot become a swimming pool. It did slow down and the road tour departed at 10am and then by like 11am or so, the skies cleared and once again, picture perfect day. Friday was back to sunny, passing clouds and HOT. Great for boat tours, water parks or anything that anyone found to do. Today, Saturday started cloudy, and then turned to passing showers. Depending on what time you left, it was either a totally dry ride our of Wisconsin or ... you got to find out if your car leaked or not (and am happy to say ... even after a window regulator replacement and window re-align ... mine is still tight as a drum and leak-free, even after almost 7 years!)

So there you have it ... hot air,, yes ... from the group's hot cars or the parking lot hole-shot runs ... dunno ... maybe ... but a HOT TIME was had by all ( I do believe )

Yes - I did leave a fair amount of my tire tread in Wisconsin - in the hotel parking lot and at the drag strip!

To be fair - cnote left a longer patch of rubber than I did. Maybe I shouldn't have been sober when I did mine.

All times are CT (US)
