Bamy is my first small dog... I've had a husky and a yellow lab that were my best friends and i never could understand whay folks liked the "yappy " little ones....

Now i know... this little Pal has a whole big dogs personality packed into 4 lbs....

vicious ?... absolutley ! ...
fearless ?.... yep , not scared of nuthin...
friendly ?....she loves her humans
prowler friendly ?.....she has the need for speed and loves a drive in the cat...

I sometimes wonder who really is the pet... I think its me, and i don't mind a bit !

I was never an animal lover until 3 weeks ago. I never had a pet other than fish and had no idea why people love animals so much.

This has all changed. Three weeks ago Charlie the Pug came into my life. This dog was for my son, but I have become attached to him. Charlie is now a member of our family.

Here is a picture of my Jack taken just a week ago while we were on vacation at Steamboat Lake (background) on a Colorado mountain hike...

Cool little dogs guys. If I can get my scanner working I will scan a pic or two of my Shih Tzu...Tara.

There's something to be said for a small dog. I think they're the coolest.JMO

JD,

Both are cute. What breed is Lucy? Also a Shih Tzu like I have?

the Lucid Eye writes the final chapter to his new best seller...."the Revolution Barks"

"Brothers, TIME FOR A CHANGE"...
...no more walking on a leash,
...no more suffering the humiliation of having to take a crap in front of your house...
...no more having to fetch that damned stick, let that fat bastard at the other end of the leash chase it if he wants it so bad....
...no more having to sleep on the floor next to your owners stinky feet, we want the damned chair AND the remote....
...no more table scraps, I want to eat what I want and give him the burned pieces of the pizza.....

R E V O L U T I O N, time is now.....

We've had a Yorkie for the last 10 years and he's been a great pet all along(Spike).
We also have a Golden Retriever as a pup about 3 years ago and she's been just as awesome.
Come think of it,I don't think I've ever had a pet I didn't care much for.

Hi Hali,

Echo is still ze neighborhood ROOF DOG, yes! She is a Miniature Schnauzer--but does 'look' from ze Terrier family! Still a conversation piece, even after 6 years of running across the roof! Too funny! 'Bamy' is jus' awful dang cute, her-own-self! U R DA MAN! Neat lil thread. It took me this long to post cuz I kept forgetting at home (where I can downsize)--at work I don't have the capability. This morning I finally remembered! Yay!
