Just wanted to see what you car nuts thought of it. The price is finally reasonable. What sort of mileage do they get?

Our local dealer recently dumped the Hummer line so I can't easily go check one out. I'd have to go to Cincy or Louisville...

Saw a yellow one. minaturized H2. Doesn't look bad @ all. I did test drive the new Subie Tribeca, not too shabby either. the FX45 is still my fav.

I saw an H3 on Power Tour. It was and SUV - I was led to believe it was going to be a pick up truck.

Horrible car, based on the small chevy pickup with the same 5cyl engine. Bad turning radius, super heavy for the motor, bunch of things wrong with the car. I am sure it would be reliable but there are better small suv's out there for the money.

I'm wondering how many different Hummers the world needs.

We have lots of H3's here in Pontiac, Mi. in the 'captured test fleet'. Exterior keeps with the traditional Hummer theme. Hood opens like a traditional vehicle, not the flip back type the H1 and H2 have. Very nice interior, with good quality materials, layout, and fit and finish. Engine is the Inline 5 cylinder with twin balance shafts. Four valve, twin cam, cam phaser. All aluminum construction. Very smooth engine. About 230 horse power, very flat torque curve. Will it smoke the tires? No. You will have to wait until 08 when the Gen 4 V-8 is installed. Should get fair fuel economy, if you keep your foot out of the pedal. Exterior fit and finish is also good. Frame is hydro-formed, very stiff, good for towing/hauling. Large tires, keeping with theme, will be expensive to replace someday. Overall reliability should be better than average!
