JD, it is probably cheaper to buy a new motor. It seems nothing is worth fixing anymore.
That said, the motor went out on the hot tub, 10 days ago. I got on the website. 4 HP, 220, 2 speed. $507. I took it to a local repair shop. They fixed it within 24 hours, $ 96. It never hurts to ask.

John: I found this when searching for parts for you.

Harbor Freight are the folks to contact about Chicago Electric as mentioned by others (1-800-444-3353 or www.harborfreight.com). I just bought a rotary hammer from them because I figured even if it doesn't last as long as "the others" I could buy 4 of theirs for the price of 1 of the "others." A calculated risk. Harbor Freight told me that Chicago Electric is their own brand of imported tools. They are essentially "Chicago Electric." They provide warranty service and sell replacement parts. I found this by "chatting" on their support page with one of the Customer Service Reps.

Here is a link to their Customer Service Page: Hope this helps, Tami

Just don't buy their mechanic's stool. RPL did a double back roll off of Andy's last year when it collapsed. Thank goodness RPL is 50 lbs lighter than me or he would still be rolling.
