I assume that is the same Paul Winchell as in Jerry Mahoney fame...they had their own TV show in the late '50s..TUIB is too young to remember!! |

I took my son to see Paul Winchell at he local mall about 7 years ago. There was a line a block long to get his autograph. When it was our turn to meet him, he did the Tigger voice. You should have seen the smile on my sons face. Priceless. That was a fun day for my son and me. This message has been edited by Howard on 06-28-2005 at 09:29 AM |

Ed...I could be wrong (but I hardly ever am) I don't think Farfle was Paul Winchell's character. I think Farfle was on Kookla Fran and Ollie. |

I HATED Kookla, Fran and Ollie. I thought it was really stupid but the adults liked it. Go figure. No remotes in those days, or color TV, for that matter. |

Plunk Your Magic Twanger...Froggiie ! I sold an original rubber squeeker Frogie last year on eBay...brought $127.00!! The Andy Devine Show was a great kids show. Bet the animal rights group would not allow Midnight the cat to be forced to play the violin like she did. It looked like they tied the violin bow to her paw. |
