Yesterday didn't have a camera to get a picture of me driving the Golden GoatTo day was SO HOT in Indiana that we drove the truck with AC (air conditioning NOT ALLEY CAT) to do our running we needed to do and this evening took the Goldwing to go after ICE CREAM. I was SO NICE after dark that I thought a nice cruise would be nice, so a trip into Indy then north on Shadeland Avenue, planning on going up to Fall Creek and out around the lake. When we got to 21st street I see several OLD CARS in the parking lot of one of the hotels. When I get to a place to turn around, (another hotel there) I see more OLD CARS.
I pull in to the parking lot to see a beautiful 30's Model A in bright red, then several more Model A's of all models made.
There was a man working on his 31 4 door sedan and once he got the fuse changed I must have talked to him for 30 min. They are having their Model A meet here in Indy and will be here all week. I seen delivery trucks, pick up trucks, 2 door sedans, convertibles, 4 door sedans, a mail truck and a bus. So cool to see all these vehicle and I didn't have a carmera, but I have all week and I WILL BE BACK to get some shots.
There is about 6 hotels in the area and only 1 didn't have any Model A's
I did see one red PROWLER behind one of the hotels with a PA plate. Has a PT luggage rack and was on the 03 power tour. I didn't see POA anywhere on it, so I left my card.
I wonder if he is trying to pass it off as a model A?
we never made it around the lake.......too many cars to look at
YOUR CAMERA, DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT
