Pedro was trying to get into the U.S. legally through Immigration.

The Officer said: "Pedro, you have passed all the tests, except there
is one more test. Unless you pass it you cannot enter the U.S."

Pedro said, " I am ready."

The officer said "Make a sentence using Yellow, Pink, and Green."

Pedro thought for a few minutes and said, "Mister Officer, I am ready."

The Officer said "Go ahead."

Pedro said "The telephone goes green, green, green, and I pink it up,
and say, "Yellow, this is Pedro.'

Needless to say, Pedro now lives in a neighborhood near you.

Yup,,,,Pedro lives near me,,,,,along with 11 million of his relatives that we are supporting with free health care, education for his children, food stamps, aid to low income families, etc. ,,,,,all that while Pedro works for less driving down the wage scales. I can only hope that while driving his '81 Monte Carlo with bald tires, no registration, and no auto insurance,,,,,,,,that he doesn't run into me and bail.

Arizona voters support sending the illegals back to where they came from

I admire people who strive to improve their lives and work hard to do so. I also admire people who are willing to risk a big change in their lives to seek the promise of a better life that America has always offered.

But "illegal" is "illegal" and unless people come into this country "legally" then they need to go home. We need to stop issuing drivers licenses to "illegals."

The people who traffic the "illegals" into the US are the same as the drug pushers in my opinion.

You could only wish Monahan, lol. I hope you live another 25 years,,,,,they are heading to Cincy!!!

All four of my grand-parents came to this country from Germany back in the late 1890's,,,,they did it legally, learned to speak English, worked long and hard hours to support their families, paid their taxes, never became a burden on the tax rolls, and installed into their children 'respect' for the American flag and the American way of life. I'm sure most of you have similar stories.
God Bless America,,,,,,,,,,,what is left of it

I think I heard once that Canada has an imigration policy, whereby immigrants are required to have a job that will support them and their families and ADD to the culture, economy, and tax base - not ride on the shirt tales of the tax payers. Now that would be a nice idea

If it is a policy, it is never adhered to. Immigrants can also bring over relatives and they get lifetime free healthcare even though they never contributed a cent. And then welfare and on and on it goes...

A policy as stated would be reasonable if adhered to.

Ed - they hate us,,,and they vote Democratic,,,several times 'each' election, lol. They want those liberal handouts to continue and grow. Why work when they can get free healthcare, free food stamps, low cost housing, free education for the kids, and free tv's and cars when the neighbors are out working [just steal them]. I think Neal Diamond once sang it: Their Coming to America!
3,500 cross into Arizona,,,,,every day!!! Its the end of the world,,,I tell ya,,,,,the end of the world.

Last election, Az voters voted overwhelmingly in favor of our Prop. 200 = NO ASSISTANCE to "ILLEGALS". Problem is with a Democratic governor and Democratic Att. General at the helm,,,,,no enforcement is taking place.

I'm with you AC. When this current Adminsitration quits sucking up to the Latino vote and tightens the border issues, I'll believe what he says, but not until. There are more "overseas" illeagals coming into this Country thru Canada than anywhere else.

Three blocks due East from our house is the river that separates us from Ontario, Canada. I hear where you're coming from............

Ed W. - I agree with everything you said. W. Bush really disappoints me on his immigration stand, among other things. I'm hoping this will be a major issue when the 2008 elections arrive.

In my opinion George has dropped the ball on many things lately. It's a damn shame. Now they are considering forgiving all debt to poorer nations, giving more aid to Africa and turns down legislation to fix our roads because there just isn't any more money. Why are we always the world's policeman?

Sorry...I'm not enjoying the joke..I think it's an insensitive generalization and race jokes of any sort have no place on this site (JMO).

I feel that our government has abdicated it's responsiblity to protect lawfully immigrated citizens. What's up? This is an invasion! It's time the government put troops on the border (North and South) to protect the American way of life.

chromer..

i know just what you mean... a lot of people feel that way in Canada... they jammed the free trade deal down our throats and cost Canadians lots of jobs.. alot of Canadian companies went out of business like Eatons... and all we got was Walmarts....they hire the immigrants for dirt pay who use the money to bring over relatives...... and the profits go south of the border...my own children can't even buy a job.....

see, we aren't that different up here .. just colder
