in just a few more hours, I'll be waiting for the ultimate package to be delivered to my NEW home. What is it you ask? A yellow hardtop for my kitty thanks to Norb and his team woohoo). This is the ONE mod I've been wanting to do since the new purchase of my cat back in May of 2002, when I took delivery of her. My cat gets many great looks now so I can hardly imagine how much more attention she will be getting! I'll be sure to post pix's or have someone do it for me since I can NEVER get them to upload properly.

Congtrats one your acquisition. If & when I get back to work, we'll be ordering ours. Can't think of a visually more attractive mod than this one.

Enjoy it in good health.

Thanks for the support Ed W and Pumpkin.

However, I'm still not completely satisfied with the fit of my top. This is truly a beautiful mod but there are a few thing's that I'm just not happy with at the moment.

1) The rear catches are a little of a pain to set for the right fit so that you don't get vibration and so that the latches catch on when aligning them into place
2) The gap on both sides between the top and the car right underneath the top by the window
3) The windows do not go up completely to there full position unless the door is opened a little and then raising up your window (this might just be a break-in period for the rubber but I'm not sure)
4) The adjustment of the front latches that are by the visors
5) And lastly, the rubber piece that sits from the front to the rear has came off some and was like this when I got the top out of the crate (this by far has me the most pissed off because I couldn't get it to fall back into it's normal or original fit so not the runner buckles up a bit)

Other than these thing's I have found to be a pain, the top definitely came in a very tight sealed crate so EXPECT a big wooden box to arrive for those of you still waiting to receive one. Again, these are just some of the thing's I "PERSONALLY" found wrong with my top so please don't take this the wrong way or then again, I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced any problems with their tops they would like to share?

My opinion again, if I had to do it all over again. I might have just considered buying this mod first and would have considered chroming out the front end suspension for more of a look and show! This is not a slam to anyone or one of our after market vendors so please hold back from any unwelcome comments! (These are just my opinions due to my experience with the top)

As soon as time permits, I will be sure to post pictures.

Regards,
Carlos Ramirez
