If someone close to you is fighting this terrible disease, please have them tune in. Polly Letofsky left home in Vail, CO in August of 1999. Her mission was to walk around the world to promote breast cancer awareness. I can't imagin what it was like to be a blond haired, blue eyed, American woman, alone in a Muslim country on the morning of Sept 11, 2001. That is, the segment runs on in LA on Saturday afternoon, June 4, at 4 p.m., NBC. In Minneapolis it'll be on at 5:30 a.m., Sunday morning, June 5, NBC. I'm not sure of times in Louisville and Cincinnati and Fort Pierre, S.D. But it should be a hearty segment. They worked on it quite a while.
