We were invited to bring our Prowler to a picnic and car show on Saturday, sponsored by the Porsche Club, so Norm spent Friday shining it up (more).

A week ago we were having sunny, very hot weather over 100 degrees for five days in a row. Yesterday it was barely 70 and of course, it never rains in May but the day before an inch of rain fell and it was threatening more, so we went to the show but took our SLK instead. It did sprinkle a few times, so we were glad "Pumpkin" stayed at home inside the garage.

They even had the picnic catered by a local italian restaurant - never had pizza with artichokes, it was pretty tasty and they had some other non-traditional picnic foods, but it was all good stuff.

Had a great time, despite the fact that only half the cars that planned on attending made it - most were drving up from El Paso, TX about 50 miles away and mother nature ruined their plans.

Norm

Please post some pictures of your SLK. I am sure it is beautiful.

Thanks.

Howard,

Here it is at the show . . . .

As you can see, we added some graphics. Just in case we took it to some SCCA events, to make it look faster
