Business success in our culture is largely predicated on the "bottom line." I'm not personally offended as I can make a distinction between make-believe and reality. However, there are many who cannot, particularly young girls... I have a one year old granddaughter and I'd hate for her to grow up thinking this sort of behavior is "normal" or "real." What I find so hypocritical in this country and many other countries where I've lived in the Middle East, Africa and Asia is that people talk a great game (living a chaste lifestyle and public displays of worship, than when the sun goes down they act like rabbits in heat... I don't have the time, money or interest to try to stop each of these kinds of commercials. Heck, it's in our high schools, movies and at the beach as Butchee says! The real task, I see it for myself is to teach my granddaughter to distinguish between the reality and the phoney, in advertising and in people...
