At the DC event this past weekend, they conducted a drifting demonstration using Chrysler products and competitive products. Bob and Brian and I were talking to the announcer who is a professional drifter, owning his own team. He mentioned that he had done a great deal of the stunt driving in the new Dukes of Hazzard movie. We asked him what he thought of No Problem Raceway, as we were impressed with it during the Cruisin the Coast event. We then told him that we have a friend that has a car that was used in the movie. He asked which one and we described Laddie Roussel's Corvette. Not only had he driven it extensively for the movie, it was his favorite vehicle and he had a picture of it on his cell phone. He couldn't believe that we knew the car and it's owner!! Small world!!!! We promised we wouldn't tell Laddie that he said that he drove the wheels off it!

Hey CJ. It really is a small world... I have to get this to Jimmy... Thanks for the heads up... I've heard from a couple of other folks from the Clinton area with similiar reports... Did the announcer have a brittish accent? The one stunt driver I met (who was driving the Yellow 78 Vette on the hwy 10 scenes} was from England. But, that was only one day, not really sure how many drove it over the 30 days Warner Bros had the car... Maybe he was the one who took the MSD rev limiter chip out.... The movie is now scheduled for release Aug. 5th... I can't wait....

Laddie - compared to your Cajun accent, don't all of us from the rest of the country sound like we have a Brittish accent?
