I've been watching this show for a while now and it truly intrigues me they way they do their stuff.

It's about a company called "Unique Autosport" in Long Island NY which does "automotive enhancements" - interior upgrades, custom stereos, rims, etc. etc.
BUT unlike those 'other' shows you actually see HOW they do some of those things, not just the finished result.

Anybody else watches that show ?

I emailed them since I was curious if they have ever worked on a Prowler (especially in regard to audio upgrade) and they replied that they have NOT done a Prowler before.

I was REALLY surprised - on the show you see H2's, SSR's, BMW's so I was pretty sure they would have done a Prowler before - guess not !?

Take my word it you would not want them to touch your Prowler.

Watch it, some neat stuff. When they make a box, they show you what they are doing instead of showing you the finish product. Like the owner.

I have watched it 4 or 5 times.
They seem to do a lot of the New York & Jersey sports stars' cars & SUVs.

Oh....it's about cars?

Title got me perked up there for a moment....

I must have mixed it up with a DVD I rented awhile back....never mind.

What's so funny??? I can't help it if you guys post with misleading topic titles.

It's too bad - I was thinking there might finally be something decent to watch on TV....

Hmm, I haven't seen that one. I'll have to check it out.

I really like "Pimp My Ride" on MTV too. It's a half-hour show, and they do complete overhauls on POS cars - basically start by gutting the car - so they can't show all of the details. They do show some of the custom builds, like boxes for popcorn makers, actuator arm assemblies to deploy a drum set...that kind of stuff.
