'Hit the throttle in the Atom 2 and the scenery scrolls backwards at astonishing speed. Suddenly all other cars on the road appear to be standing still. For comparison with the stripped down racer feel I get behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Gallardo, a car rightly regarded as being an exceptionally exciting machine in its own right. The Lambo, incredibly, feels about as quick and responsive as a passenger bus. My senses have become horribly warped by the Atom, in a twilight zone where otherwise normal physical laws have been renegotiated...

It is one of the most user friendly cars you could ever race. Better still, when you're finished with all that screeching around the track, you can simply take off the overalls, fire it up and drive it home again.'

Read the press releases and the performance specs. You're talkin' to an old motorcycle racer here (had a Vance & Hines built GSXR 1100 that did 0-60 in 2 seconds and a top speed of over 185 mph - no I'm not that crazy - I only got it to 175 a few times LOL). If that car is as good as they say it is, that would be the closest thing to knee draggin' you could ever get on 4 wheels.

How ironic i'm in the process of waiting for payment for a Ariel Square Four and a Ariel six fifty twin motorcycles.
they are going to be shipped to Austrila, In conversation with the buyer i told him about my Prowler and he told me about his Atom 2 car.

Its a Small world.

No doors, no windshield, no roof, no airbags, not a single luxury.

For $15K it might be fun on a track on the weekend but, for almost $70K and touting it as street legal, they gotta be kidding.

Way too much cash for me. I wonder how it could pass a state safety inspection? However, i still like it.
