Thanks AC.....I found some of those links already. I'm wondering if we have any folks who live near there, that might offer some insight about it.

How long do ya think it would take me to drive over there?

Deb

Hi Deb, What do you need to know. I'm about 50 miles away from there. I have driven through Waxahachie twice in the last week, and both of my daughters graduated from a university there. Nice quiet little town. I'm sure my girls could tell you more than I could, so I can have either one of them talk with you. Let us know. Brad

They also have the Renaissance Festival there during the summer. It's always way too hot then. Now's a great time to go.

Thanks everybody. There's no imminent plan to drive that way yet. My son in law may be headed that way for his job so I want to be informed. The plans are on hold for now - timing isn't right with my first granchild on the way in June. (It's so great having my daughter living close by; selfishly, I am not quite prepared for them to move away just when the baby is due.)

You know, if they do have to move, I could apply to transfer to the office in Irving.

Anyway, I'm interested in what type of community it is, if it's a good place to raise kids, etc.

Thanks again,
Debbie
