What's the difference between "Retired" and "Unemployed, not looking for work"? Sounds like the same thing to me.
Maybe a couple more categories are needed:

Employed, looking to be unemployed
Retired, but shouldn't be
Employed, but not doing a damn thing
etc...

Retired-- is not doing nothing and getting paid. But on the other hand you could work for the government and be retired and be employed at the same time.. Now I am confused. By the way Pat an I are on a continuous summer vacation.:

Unemployed, not looking for work - someone born in the eighties and later
