The other thread got to long with all the pictures and took a long time to load so here is the end of the story and our trip.

Picking up in Huston the evening of the 18th I Buddy and I became members of the South Texas Group even got official badges, Rich Diamond aka RADCAT RICH was behind the party that was a total surprise to me I thought just a couple of guys for dinner turned out there were 20 of us with a special cake and meet a whole bunch of really nice people most of whom I know from posts but now have a face to go with the name.

the whole gang

spent a good evening visiting then said our good byes and headed to the motel for the night.

On the way managed to have breakfeast with Norm and Pat on day two of the return trip, then the morning of day three meet AC for breakfeast at the local Denny's he was driving some old crappy junk car so wouldnt let him park by me. Got to So Cal later that day and thanks to Larry Lord and cell phones he talked me through all that maze of freeways and the shortest route to the grapevine made all but the last 200 miles and had to stop for the night got an early start and made it home by 8:15 on Saturday.

Thanks to all along the way you made the trip wonderful each of you is a special person.

If you ever have the chance to do this same thing and make the road trip of your life dont put it off JUST DO IT!!

thanks again to all, and to all that have posted comments, thanks

Tami... Actually Ken was showing us how the big dogs come up to your car just before they hike up their leg. Sooo... If you ever see Ken crawling around behind your car... run him off. FAST!!! LOL

It was great to meet some of the other Kat owners in Dallas as well as Curtis & Cargo.

Curtis, It was a fun night and good food. It was awesome to see all 14 Prowlers parked out front. It was nice to meet you, Buddy and Cargo. Glad all made it home safe and sound. We hope to see you all in the future at some event.
