I think the customer and the police needed to take a chill pill.

I think I would have two openings on my shift - that's really uncalled for. We are there to calm things down, not make it worse.

Tough call. Cops are human and may have been hyped from a previous encounter. I wouldn't want the job. They usually never deal with "nice" things. Didn't call for a tazer though. Where's RoboCop when you need him?

I think the police did exactly what they should have. If you remember about 2 years ago a policeman shot and killed a 16 year old mentally challenged boy who came at him with a knife. The policeman ended up being suspended for 9 months and they paid off the family to the tune of 2 million. Now this time they use the tazer guns and still get into trouble. We need to have something to stop the violence and criminals that the police can use. It is the same old "Police brutality " bitch put on by the blacks in the Aurora community that has gone on for years. Again I'm all for the Police in this one.

My oldest son is in Federal Law Enforcement and often complains that their hands are tied by the courts and lawyers. In this case, I think both sides over reacted.

Of course both sides over-reacted. Was the dad (that was being an *** ) a threat to anyone that they needed to do that? Those poor kids are now traumatized. But hey in south florida this week, some young 16 year old black kid was dropping friends off at a school dance, and then a bit later did donuts in the school lawn. A 22 year old cop (alone) came on the scene and asked for his license - kid went to leave - drove down a breezeway of the school - and the copy put a bullet in the back of his head. I think common sense just doesn't prevail often enough. Let the kid go - and follow him or block him with your police car - but to end a kids life? I'm for cops, but can someone get some common sense?

In Colorado when the sign says it's a one trip salad bar, they mean it.

Here in Colorado we don't take kindly to people touching our Prowlers without permission OR taking unauthorized second trips to the salad bar!
