Well Boyz....

The Old Man has been busy lately building the new workshop. The race deck floor is done and the cabinets are almost finished.

I am almost ready to move in....

The garage is next.

Mr. Alley Cat.....

Here is the Kitchen...I did this last year. In the mean time, I will start the garage shortly. It is actually done but it needs an update to be at your standards.

I am looking for your stamp of approval and then I'll go professional.

I agree!!! What's the square footage of your house? Also...are you a professional chef?
I'm such a good cook I'm thinking about yanking out my stove in the kitchen and putting in a gigantic microwave.

Very nice--looks like you're set up for wood working. You can just hit the pool to rinse off the chips.

Have not heard of a McIntosh System, where is it in the pictures and please explain, if you would.

Very nice Scott!!!

I thought I noticed the McIntosh components sitting on the countertop, not suprising that a man of your advanced age would prefer the "Old Style" system .

Answer...

McIntosh Labs components are considered to be one of the better brands of audio equipment. They were very prevalent in the 70's and considered at the time to probably be the best available.

Today, they are high-end and most of their systems are noted for the "big blue meters" that indicate the power being used. They have black faceplates with black lighted functions so they are quite something to see. Their website is http://www.mcintoshlabs.com/.

They have a unique warranty which basically states that they are guaranteed to perform as per specifications for the life of the unit. That sorta went by the wayside a few years ago but they still build probably some of the best components that money can buy.

I have a stereo system in my media room that utilizes their components and I had a another system that I am using in the shop that came out of my Northern California home that I just sold.

I have enclosed two, rather poorly taken pictures of the McIntosh components in my media room. They do not do the equipment justice.

Hope this helps...
