Check out the Dodge Nitro which is based on Liberty platform. This should be a good seller

I believe there will be a market for it. Sales on the larger SUV's is slowing fast, so there should be room for this model to the marketplace. *

* -looks like they are going to bolt the chrome center caps on, lol.

I think you all are picturing the caliber as bigger than it is. This is our neon replacement. Think small. Our smallest, least expensive vehicle in the lineup. This "concept" is due in the showrooms in early 2006. It was developed by Mitsubishi and it's platform will be shared with the next generation Lancer. It will be powered by a 2.0l gas engine created by hyundai. It is suppose to be a "world car" and is expected to be offered for sale in Europe.

My first thought was: "A way to use the roofs off the Chargers that won't sell and the Durango body's that are sitting and not selling. Take two ugly vehicles and make a 3rd!" Sorry to those who are excited about Dam/Mopar but they seem to be slipping on design and product direction.

Blast Away - each to his own!

I live 5 miles from the Belvidere Ill chrysler assembly plant and many of my friends work there. It was recently announced that the car shown in the earlier message, will be produced here in Belvidere. It was in all the local papers here because they will be hiring 1000 more assembliers once this and the second car(to be announced later) are in production sometime later this fall. I cant remenber all the details and I cant find the newspaper it was announced in, but I beleive my comments are generally accurate.

Looks to me like a knock-off copy of the PT for the Dodge side, but not very nice looking I perfer the PT and think the front with that big old Dodge grill is just butt ugly, but to each his own I like the Charger and most of you dont so I guess its still " beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
