Not quite sure but that grill sure looks like a Mercury. So my guess would be a Mercury made by a division of the Ford Motor Company. lol

Notice the old two piece windshields? Fender skirts were kewl in their day! Vacuum style windshield wipers, OMG>>>> those things were lousy. The black one looks like it has Cadillac hubcaps,,,,while the green one looks like Olds hubcaps.
I do believe those front bumpers could take a hit at more than 2 1/2 mph,,,,,,so I'd leave them on.

Nice rides

AC--It would appear that way, but first hand experience told me otherwise, unless I hit my friend's car just right.
I was showing off with my mother's car, soon to be mine, and punched it in reverse spinning the tires ,losing control and hitting my bud's 56 Dodge Lancer with the rear of my 66 Dodge Coronet. The grill on his car was like the one on the Merc with a massive bumper and grill guard. Result, I bent back his bumper, grill guard and crumpled his fender. My Dodge just had the trim ring around the tail light lens broken on the one side, no other damage! I (my Dad) ended up giving him $250 to repair his car. I think the car cost him 50 bucks in the first place. He drove it that way until he junked it.
