Although I could be wrong, I think someone is yanking your chain.

Ferrari's current entry level vehicle is approaching $200K.

Ferrari has always been about F1, racing, purebred, limited exotics. Soccer mom minivans have never played into that equation.

The Cayenne can be had for mid 40's (v6), a stomping ground that Ferrari would definitely NOT want to get into. While the Cayenne turbo goes for up to $95K, this too is well below Ferrari's standards in pricing for such a small operation.

Ferrari is also not geared up to be a Porsche or GM in terms of mass producing cars. I believe the produce a total of less then 3000 vehicles a year worldwide(that is for all models combined).

With that in mind, this would have to be a $200K SUV to be sufficient to pay for it. Probably not realistic but, then again, I honestly don't think an area Ferrari would want to tread into.

There is also no mention of it on Ferrari's site.

Next time I stop by to see where I am on the list, I'll inquire about this.

I think I can hear Enzo spinning faster than a Formula 1 engine. Should be a big seller in Beverly Hills.

From what I could understand it said to possibly compete with the Porsche Cayenne & Volkswagon Touareg, not the Lamborgini. Of course, that took nearly 2 hours to find in the site. LOL!

Never say never and I like I said, I guess anything could be possible but, I just don't see this marque doing this. What's next? A Ferrari electric car? A low budget < $15K Ferrari?

I just don't honestly think this is where this marque wants to tread.

As far as the artist concept though, the back looks nice, the front is just plain ol' fugly.

Interesting site. Thanks for the post!

I bet that if they build it in limited numbers, it will sell.

It amazes me at the money that seems to be out there for exotic luxury cars.

quoting Lyle Lovett...

Now I crept up from behind her
She looked so fine to me
But when I stepped around her man
My eyes could plainly see

She was ugly from the front
She was ugly from the front
She was ugly from the front
And I said ugly-ugly-ugly-ugly-ugly

Well I could handle it behind her
And I like it on the side
But don't make me look around her man 'cause she's
Ugly-ugly-ugly-ugly-ugly

Nope! Even the Porsche Cayenne is not doing so well out here. For less money you can have a Range Rover, which is a much nicer SUV.

If this thing can make a U-turn like one of the guys posting here, it will sell like hotcakes as a sports car. lol.
Geno, that was the BENGAL edition Prowler. Highly sought after here in Cincy by Bengal fans. lol
