With all the lawyers he has i think they will work out enough confusion to make it number 4.

I think MJ would love a "hung" jury...especially if it was all 12 year olds...

he shouyld go to jail for a long time.

If he gets an attorney that rhymes well, then he might have a good defense....Like OJ!

I think it's sad that one with so much talent could be so darn weird!

I believe he's guilty and hope for such a verdict, but who knows. I wish the whole mess would just go away.

A lot of interesting opinions,,,,,keep them coming in. We are going to hear this crap on tv for many months to come.

I forgot my vote,,,,,,,,,I'll go with #1. Somehow, at least two weirdos will make the jury group and hang it up during deliberation.

**********************************************************

Randy - you are right, the guy had some talent, then went deep into his own world, and pis$ed most of it away. Judging from his previous $20M+ payoff,,,, I'd say he is guilty.

That type of stuff is just too hard to predict. I never thought OJ would get off scott free. I was shocked. Juries are almost impossible to predict even in normal trials. This is about as far from normal as you can possibly get.
Randy, a lot of extremely talented artistic people are really different. (The fine line between genius and crazy).
That is why they are geniuses, they do not think normally, like most folks. I remember back 30 years ago thinking the guy was a total freak and my now ex-sister-in-law defending him. I was shocked at her take on things since she seemed pretty normal otherwise. Just take a look at him and decide if he could be a child molester.
I say give him one year (in the electric chair). lol

This will not be popular, but it's honest.

He will be found not guilty.

Not because he's wealthy, but because he's not guilty.

No doubt he's an odd duck, but that doesn't make him a pedophile. He IS a child - whether due to the fact that he worked insanely hard as the lead member of the Jackson 5 during those years he should've been out playing in the park with other children or the fact that children are the only people in this society who don't find it necessary to judge him by some arbitrary set of societal benchmarks as to what's "weird" and what's not, he prefers the company of children over that of adults. Is that unusual? Sure it is. Does it mean he molests them? Absolutely not. Children love him because he's one of them. Adults ridicule him and the press has tortured and villified him for decades because he was immeasurably popular and his image sold newspapers and magazines no matter how little truth there was to the story printed. He's a wildly talented and equally eccentric individual. If he's retreated emotionally into a child's world because he finds adults distasteful (tell me you don't find most adults distasteful yourself as compared to the joyous and untainted honesty and innocence of children) then we can think him strange, but being strange is not criminal. Bear in mind this is a "man" who's house is an amusement park named Neverland for cryin' out loud - for those of you who don't remember what Neverland is, it's from Peter Pan - a story about a boy who never grew up. Coincidence? Methinks not.

Just because most adults aren't capable of having a relationship with a child on the child's level doesn't mean it's not possible. He is, by the definition of the words, a unique individual. Always has been. He doesn't want to grow up. He doesn't like adults and doesn't want to be one. To tell you the truth I don't blame him. Most adults are really pretty unpleasant if you took a good honest look at them. They're selfish, judgmental, manipulative, greedy, and his experience has probably been that most adults that are "nice" to him want something from him. Kids don't do that. Their love and affection is from a more honest place. They love him because he's him. He's kind, caring, and childlike. He doesn't care what the rules say adults are supposed to act like - he can afford to have an amusement park for a house and own chimpanzees and giraffes simply because he wants to.

Just for a minute, if you looked deep inside, don't you kinda wish you didn't have to grow up either?

I do.

One man's (obviously dissenting) opinion. Do with it what you will.

Ed - I predicted OJ would be innocent. When Johnny put on that glove demonstration and said: "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit",,,,,,,,,I knew it was over with at that point. Beyond a reasonable doubt. Then afterwards, when you seen the jury members, it all came together. All the advanced science in the world for evidence [we know he did it] and they couldn't remove that one ounce of doubt. Go figure.

My uneducated guess is that he is guilty, is probably innocent by reason of insanity, but will likely just get off scott free.

I have always wondered why they let people off for reasons of insanity. Doesn't insanity make them more dangerous to society, more likely to re-offend, and more UNlikely to be able to be reformed. That said, we should be locking them up longer!!!!

Heaven only knows how this will end and if the truth will ever be known... one way or the other. I just don't understand why he behaves the way he does. It's one thing to not to want to "grow up", but to go to the lengths he has to change himself from a black person to a white person? He obviously did not love himself as the person he was born as. He abandoned his ancestry, his heritage, etc. to try to be something he was not. Did he think the world would love him better if he did that? Obviously, no self-esteem. Now the world just thinks he is a weirdo.

I really only have one question ask, spending the weekend at Neverland is one thing, but would you really let you child spend the weekend alone in WHACKO"S bed.

You have got to be kidding. Just look at him. He is as weird as they come. If his looks are not bad enough just listen to him speak for a minute. No telling what is going through that mind of his. As his talent goes he can't be on stage 2 minutes without touching himself. I think he is warped and ready to graduate from Neverland to the Funny Farm.
