I am not positive but I think # 1 is partially wrong, too. I think it is paper with cotton threads in it. That used to foil the counterfeiters but with the new bills, I am not sure. I have not done any research to verify it, one way or another. The tiny threads were colored threads. Now they have other measures to ensure they are real bills. |

I hate to continue the trend, but #8 is wrong too. Saw an episode of Myth Busters a few weeks back, and they busted that myth. However, I was watching Hey! Spring of Trivia yesterday, and learned that some insect chirps cannot be heard over the phone since they are outside of the sound frequency transmitted by phones. -Dan |

There are no crickets in Ireland. I don't know why, but walking late one night by some fields and not a sound. It was strange. |
