I will be in Los Angeles for a couple of days and plan on going to the Peterson Museum. Now the question: What are other must see or do car related things?

Thanks
Dale

Dale,
Be sure to plan ahead and schedule a tour of the Nethercutt. It's much more impressive than the Petersen.
Also be sure to let me know when you'll be in town. I should be able to get a few cars together for a short visit.

Larry,
Thanks for the tip on the Nethercutt. Also is the Wally Parks Museum of Drag Racing at the Fairplex worth a visit? The other things we are planning on is a visit to Bob's Big Boy - suppose to be a big hang out on Frday nights according to Car Craft Mag. Is that true? Would that be a good place to meet up with you and some of the others?
The other thing we would like to do is visit the BIG DOG Garage.
Still open to any other suggestions.
Thanks
Dale

Get hold of Norb at TGF see if you can get a tour it will blow your mind what they do there and how much it will remind you of a hosipital, in fact is probably cleaner then most Ive been in as of late.

Was just out there in November ... Peterson is just across the street from the La Brea tar pits ... cool to visit as well. Head down to see West Coast Choppers while you are there, not far and a quick left turn gets you to the Queen Mary as well. Just some other non-car things to check out!

I suggest you take a trip to Disneyland. If you really like cars you can wait in line to ride Autopia. You will receive an official drivers license and the opportunity to drive a high speed race car. I think they go about 3 MPH.

Any ideas for Friday & Saturday night? Racing, car show, hang outs, etc?

Still wondering if Bob's Big Boy is worth it or not?

The only thing that is in concrete is the Big Dog Garage on Friday afternoon. Will try for Derelict Donuts on Saturday morning and then Nethercutt and Peterson.

Thanks
Dale

A Prowler cruise up Pacific Coast Highway should be on the list - no nicer way to spend a sunny cruise-worthy day.

Also, NHRA Winternationals are coming up weekend after next at Pomona, so you can catch the NHRA Museum (it is awesome) and some the first racing of the new season.

If you want to get together, leet me know.
