Friend o' mine in the bldg I work in bought a yeller '05 Stang...and I look at it every day--wondering what the fascination is? Other than the 2 big headlights up front, which does look nice, what's all the interest? There are scads of previous year mustangs who also park around the bldg--and they look every bit as nice as the '05--to me. In fact, the Mach 1 looks much nicer than than the '05 NON Mach 1 to me...but whadda I know? I owned a '94 GT Conv which I still believe looked as good as the newer models, but other people around me go ga-ga over the '05 so there must be SOMETHING they're seeing which I still just don't get!

The car would have gotten a thumbs up here if it was called IE: 300C2. And the new Mustang looks pretty cool going down the road...cooler than when it sits in the lot...odd.

I like the looks of the '05 Stang GT, but don't like the 'big' extra lamps in the grill. I've looked at a half dozen new Mustangs so far, and every one of them had terrible paint jobs - tons of orange peel. Somebody at Ford needs to start looking at their paint process. JMO
