...not my type ....but I would bet GM has a hit on their hands.....

...there was supposed to be a "panel truck" made from the SSR.....with lagging sales, I bet it is dead.....

I can hear it now............the first thought of an owner
of an HHR on the morning AFTER they took delivery,

"What #@%&&*^ was I thinking?"

You'd think the General would have learned from the Aztek!

Better yet, throw some flat black primer on the front & rear fenders & the HHR would look like an orphan of the Honda Element !

Well, I kinda agree with the last two comments, however, I have looked at and have rented a PT Cruiser, but felt it was just a tad too small to get rid of our SUV in favor of ... but this, while not the sexiest of cars ... takes the PT to a more um, well ... 'pumped up' level ... will withhold full praise or criticism until I see it next month at the Chicago Auto Show.

Don't know what all the negative comments are about. Front looks like a beefed up PT and the back like a Durango or Jeep.

If they make it, they'll sell a pile of them.

As far as the SSR sales lagging, the new 400 pony V8 killed the previous one and made them worthless. Now there is news that there may be a Z06 type variant next year. Guess what that will due to the current V8?????

It certainly looks a lot better than most of the stuff GM came out with in recent years....I like the truck a lot!

AzteK was, albeit wrongly so, tartgeted for the gen-y crowd (under 20 something). Doubtful many of them have homes. Probably still living at home.

With huge rebates, discounts, etc. to move them, now probably anyone that wanted cheap transportation got one.

Hard to believe but, alot of folks really don't care what it looks like so long as it gets them from point A to B.

I read where the designer of the HHR actually designed the PT Cruiser for Chrysler then bailed for GM after the takeover from Deiter.

So the similar looks are not a coincidence or even plagurism.
