Bob Tate has been the Gift Store Manager at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum for several years. Bob was a big supporter of the Prowler community and worked hard to try to incorporate Prowler merchandise at the Museum. He has worked hard to bring the gift store to the level at which it is now. He and I worked together and he became a good friend.

It is with great regret that I have to tell you that he has left the Museum to take another job. He is going to be working as the head Historian for General Motors. Bob's automotive background and collection of automotive memorabilia is extensive. This is a great opportunity for him, but a definite loss for the Prowler community.

I would like to thank Bob for his support of the POA and for his friendship. He told me he was finally getting a home computer, so I hope that he is able to see this. He promises me he will stay in touch.

Thank you, Bob, and best of luck in your exciting new job!

I also admired Bob Tate for the work that he did. Have read many articles that he has written over the years. Enjoyed talking to him and am sure he will be missed at the Chrysler Museum. Head Historian sounds like a great match for both of them.

Someone please tell Bob Tate that the head Historian job is over rated and he should stay as the Gift Store Manager.
Just teasing, Good Luck Bob.
