Please do a prayer for me as I get ready to head to Hong Kong in about 1 hour. They tell me it is a 15 hour plan flight. I know GOD has my back but being covered by prayer always helps. Travelling mercies I pray over anyone of you who are heading out on a plan this 1st of January 2005!!. I will be back in the STATES on the 11th of January. If I can, I will post pics and some video when I get there.

Dan You'll love Hong Kong; it's expensive and the Chinese authorities can be smucks sometimes, but it's a fun place. Have a safe journey. |

Well, just left Hong Kong and just crossed the China border and let me tell you I was very nervous. The life style here is very different. I found out Hong Kong traffic flows in the opposite direction of the US and China traffic flows in the same direction as the US. I was told Hong Kong does what the British do in regards to vehicle travel. All the signs have both Asian language and english language in Hong Kong but China is a different story. The way they drive here is unbelievable. Very insane and anything goes. They make up their own traffic rules and was amazed to see no accidents. I did end up seeing just one but was very minor. Thank you all for your prayers. The flight was very long and 8 hours into the trip, I wanted to get out of the plane. It was way too long. It was 15 hours worth of air travel. More to come later... |

Dan - stay safe, our friend. The traffic signs shouldn't bother you,,,,,,,you never obey them anyway, lol. If you get a rental,,,do some burnouts! Good luck with your work there, and return back home safely. Are prayers are with you. |

It is Saturday 3:45pm here in Hong Kong. In my hometown of California it is Friday 11:39pm. I have never felt jet lag before but let me tell you I felt it here. Now that I have adjusted, I'm heading back home. More videos coming. I got alot of weird ones. |

Great film footage Dan! Although,,,that fish film above,,,looked like a carp taken from the polluted Saltan Sea in lower California. Keep us posted on your travels, and "Be Careful Out There!" |

Alley Cat, It is now 10pm here in Hong Kong. Will be hitting the sack soon. Thank you for letting me know what type fish it is. I was so dumb founded when Kenny was giving me the tour that I almost fainted. I fly back home tomorrow at 12 noon. I'm told the flight back will only be 11 hours versus the 15 hours it was before. It is still a long freaking time. I hate the fact my rear end starts burning after 6 hours of flight. I constantly have to get up and walk and drink lots of water to stay hydrated. Later... |

Dan, ...I lived in Taiwan for 18 months.....understand the traffic.....unbelieveable.....makes you a defensive driver to say the least.....I had more accidents during the short time I lived there than the entire rest of my life....I was hit by everything from a bicycle to a Chinese Army truck...... ...public restroom facilities (at best)consisted of a urinal mounted flat in the floor, no toilets, no toilet paper.....never forget going into a train station in Taipei and seeing all the people hunkered down over the inground facility doing their business and peering out UNDER the stall doors at the population passing by.... |

...the shortage of "TP" is the major reason many of the Hot Rod magazines in my archives from that era have very few pages left....:....I always used the articles about custom vans first : |
