I know they are pretty expensive, but I'm thinking of treating myself to a day or two of racing school (law school graduation present). Can anybody recommend a specific school? The only one I can think of is Bob Bondurant in Arizona (and they seem pricy). Please let me know of any recommendations and price figures. Thanks |

I know back in 2003 Skip Barber had about five locations for racing schools. I think Laguna Seca would be the closet for you. Beautiful track! Good luck!! Give us details and pictures after you finish. Ransom This message has been edited by ransom1945 on 12-16-2004 at 02:25 AM |

call Bill Pemberton, Woodhouse Chrysler 1800-889-1893....they are doing a "Panoz Racing School" event in late January in Sebring Florida....I have attended their schools twice in the last 3 years(slow learner)once at Road Atlanta, and once at Virginia Intl Raceway......the first time we raced in Panoz sprortscars and the next time it was in formula cars...I have been sent the info for Sebring, but havent decided whether to go or not.....it is the one I always wanted to attend due to the historic nature of the facility.....just getting to old for this much fun I guess.....the school runs approx $3K for 3 days and they supply everything.... |

Orange I have been to the Formula 1 school at the Bob Bondurant school of racing and it was a real thrill. The cost is around $350.00 and it takes up most of the day. You get up to speeds of 135MPH. I highly recommend this school. I am going to drag racing school at the Frank Hawley school of drag racing in Pomona CA this spring. I will be taking the one day school, around $398.00. You get to drive a dragster thru the quarter mile at least 3 times plus other runs. You might want to look into either one of these. Surf the net for more info on these schools. Good luck |

Skip Barber is very Good. He has a school here in CT @ Lime Rock! How far are you from Laguna Seca--I'm sure they have a school there. My Viper buddies in AZ are friends with Bob Bondurant. ------------------ |
