tangled up in BLUE Prowler Junkie Posts: 11086 From: New Castle, Ind Registered: DEC 2000	posted 12-07-2004 08:52 PM ....the plant dedication ceremony in 1907 was attended by the Vice President of the United States.....the Maxwell Briscoe Plant was the largest factory in the world, right here in New Castle, Indiana....it was later bought by Chrysler and a third story was added along with many other large complexes during the ensuing decades....sadly, the building has been razed in the last few weeks and all that remains is a small portion of the brick corner that will be preserved as a monument to days gone by.....
